CENTRAL BUCKS AQUATICS PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY
CB Aquatics may wish to take individual and/or group photographs of swimmers/divers during their participation in aquatic programs. All photos will be taken and published in accordance with this policy. CB Aquatics observes the following policies related to photography:
- Photographs may not be taken in locker rooms or bathrooms.
- Photographs may not be taken from behind swimming blocks at the start of a race or exhibit a child climbing out of the pool.
- Cell phone use is not allowed behind blocks during a meet or in locker rooms or other changing areas at any time.
- Videotaping and still photography of practices and evaluations by anyone other than CB Aquatics staff (for training or official team purposes) is prohibited.
- All photographs must observe generally accepted standards of decency; for example, no photograph should be taken or retained where the photograph reveals a torn or displaced swimsuit.
- Photographs are posted on our team and/or school district websites only. If CB Aquatics would like to use a photograph for another purpose (for example, in a newspaper article), CB Aquatics will obtain specific consent (parental for minors) from all swimmers/divers in the photograph.
- Names of athletes are not listed when photographs are posted on the websites. Any names on swim caps (or elsewhere) are obscured when posting photographs of athletes.
- The club requires parental consent to take and use photographs. Such consent is obtained through the online portal registration process and/or subsequent email communications.
- Parents have a right to refuse agreement to their child being photographed and may do so via email as directed in the online portal registration process or through subsequent email communications to the Aquatics Manager.
