Outcome: Canvas courses have been created and are available on your dashboard. Teachers must complete the following steps before using Canvas with students (we are calling this process Canvas 201).*Directions for specialist are on the bottom of the page*

Required Steps for Classroom Teachers:
1.) Import the CB Elementary HR Template
(less than 3 minutes)
2.) Import the CB Elementary Subject Template
(4 minutes)
3.) Setup links and personalize your course.

4.) Verify that your course meets the CB Canvas requirements.

Required Steps for Specialist
1.) (OPTIONAL) Cross-List Your Multiple Sections in Canvas (aka “One to Many”)

2.) Import the CB Elementary Subject Template
3.) Share the link to your course with homeroom teachers.
- We recommend that each school creates a shared document that all teacher can edit and access.
- This is a sample template that schools can use.
4.) Create Groups in any Cross-Listed Course
2 minutes
5.) Verify that your course meets the CB Canvas requirements.
6.) Publish the course when you are ready for students to view it.
