High School Art Electives
The Â鶹´«Ã½ Bucks Art Program sparks creativity and inspires every student! Designed for personal growth and to prepare future artists, this dynamic program offers a high-quality, K-12 sequential curriculum that blends art with other disciplines. High school art courses feature four exciting areas: Art Production, Art History, Art Criticism, and Aesthetics, all rooted in the PA Standards for the Arts and Humanities.
Our offerings include:
- Art 1-4 and AP Studio Art
- Introduction to Ceramics, Ceramics 1, Ceramics 2, and Ceramics 3
- Digital Imaging 1 and 2, Graphic Design & Illustration and 3D Modeling & Animation
- Drawing & Painting 1-2
- The Art of Photography, Beginning Photography, Intermediate Photography and Advanced Photography
- Unified/Collaborative Art
From foundational skills to advanced exploration, students progress through courses that foster artistic growth, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving. Through hands-on projects, discussions, and performance-based assessments, students connect art to life and explore its role in their communities.
