Having a better understanding of the essential skills and concepts presented during each grade can help you as a parent see where the current learning fits within the curriculum. The link below takes you to a list of the program goals for each grade level.

Are you interested in demonstrations that show how to use the algorithms your children are studying in class? For each of the units in the Everyday Math program, there is a 'Family Letter' that describes the skills and concepts for that unit in more detail, has a section called "As you help your child with homework", and provides parents with "Do-Anytime Activities" that are simple and can be used to reinforce concepts being learned.
