The Â鶹´«Ã½ Bucks School District encourages parents to consider taking the pledge Waiting Until 8th. In a world where smartphones have become ubiquitous, it's more important than ever to consider the impact of these devices on our children's lives. The Wait Until 8th pledge encourages parents to rally together and delay giving their children smartphones until at least the end of 8th grade.
By joining the Wait Until 8th pledge, parents have the opportunity to rally together and delay the introduction of smartphones into their children's lives. With over 50,000 parents already on board, this movement is making a significant impact in communities nationwide.
Through the pledge, parents gain support in resisting societal pressures and expectations surrounding early smartphone ownership. Instead, they can opt for basic phones or watches for communication purposes while avoiding the pitfalls associated with smartphones.
Childhood is a precious time that should be cherished and filled with enriching experiences, not dominated by screen addiction. Join us in safeguarding childhood by taking the Wait Until 8th pledge today!
